About Nest Survey

Nest Survey began with a question from a Florida nonprofit: what if we could watch kestrel nests continuously, and not for a few minutes every few days? Answering it took a camera that could live in a nest box for months and a platform that could make sense of thousands of hours of video.

The system is now in its second generation. It is designed for small research teams: affordable, serviceable by field technicians, and built so that the people watching the footage are biologists, not engineers.

Nest Survey is built and operated by Drew Fulton at Fultonensis Labs. Read the case study.
